Four-Camera Analogue Kit

The VideoSecu VD6HWLKC4 bundle supplies four white dome cameras for wired CCTV installations. Each unit uses a built-in 1/3 inch SONY Effio CCD with colour DSP and an automatic CDS sensor. The package includes four power supplies, four extension cables and free warning stickers. Buyers who need IP or wireless cameras should look elsewhere.

600 TVL Over Coaxial BNC

Every camera delivers a maximum horizontal resolution of 600 TV lines through a 3.6 mm wide-angle lens. The analogue video signal travels over a wired BNC connection to a compatible DVR. Twenty-eight infrared LEDs activate automatically in low light, switching the image to black and white for night viewing. This kit will not work with HD-SDI, AHD or network video recorders.

12 V DC Power For DVR Systems

Each dome requires a 12 V DC supply, provided in the box, and a single coaxial run back to the recorder. The wide 3.6 mm lens covers broad areas such as entrances, car parks or retail floors. Installers must supply their own DVR, monitor and any additional cabling beyond the included extensions. The cameras are not suitable for standalone or Wi-Fi operation.

Questions about this item

What does 600 TV lines actually look like on a monitor?

The 600 TV lines rating means the camera resolves fine horizontal detail on an analog monitor or DVR, producing clear colour images by day and sharp black-and-white footage at night.

What does the BNC connection limit in a real install?

The wired BNC video output carries standard-definition analog signal only, so it must connect to a compatible DVR or capture card and cannot plug into HD or IP recorders.

How much clearance does the 3.6 mm dome need for mounting?

The compact dome with its 3.6 mm wide-angle lens fits flush to ceilings or walls using the included bracket, requiring only a small cut-out for the BNC and power cables.
