What this projector does

The ViewSonic EW Series WH-E12A is a DLP LED projector designed for home ambient lighting. It projects multicolour northern lights, star and moon patterns across a ceiling or wall. The unit includes a 5.2 Bluetooth speaker that plays 15 white-noise tracks. A corded remote controls all functions.

What the bundled speaker and remote change

The integrated 5.2 Bluetooth speaker adds audio playback without a separate sound system. Fifteen pre-loaded white-noise tracks play directly from the projector. The corded remote adjusts 21 colours, five brightness levels and four rotation speeds to create 316 lighting combinations. No app or network connection is required.

What to verify before ordering

Confirm that a 90-264 VAC, 47/63 Hz mains supply is available at the intended location. The cabinet measures 14.33in wide, 12.83in high and 9.06in deep and weighs 0.53 kilograms, so ensure the mounting surface can support it. The projector has no network connectors and relies solely on the supplied corded remote for control.

Questions about this item

Does the LED lamp in the ViewSonic WH-E12A require periodic replacement like a traditional projector bulb?

The LED light source is rated for long life without a user-replaceable lamp module, so no scheduled bulb changes are needed.

What limits continuous operation of the WH-E12A — heat buildup, power draw, or automatic shutdown?

The unit draws power from a 90–264 VAC supply and runs a 5.2 W Bluetooth speaker; no thermal shutdown threshold or duty-cycle limit is published.

How loud is the fan and how hot does the cabinet get when the projector runs all day?

No acoustic or surface-temperature figures are provided; the 0.53 kg chassis uses passive cooling with no fan noise specification.
