ADA-Compliant Emergency Phone

The Viking E-1600A-EWP is a surface-mountable corded telephone built for elevator lobbies, pool areas and other public spaces that require ADA-compliant emergency communication. It connects directly to a standard analog line or analog station port and draws all power from the phone line, so no batteries or external supply are needed.

Programmable Dialling and Location Announcements

Up to five emergency numbers and two central-station numbers can be stored in non-volatile memory and programmed remotely from any touch-tone phone. The unit can automatically send a digital voice announcement or a DTMF touch-tone code to identify the call location, and a Call Connected LED confirms the link visually.

Enhanced Weather Protection for Outdoor Use

Foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections and gel-filled butt connectors protect the electronics from precipitation and condensation, making the phone suitable for exposed exterior mounting. Facilities that need a VoIP or cellular endpoint, or that require more than seven stored numbers, should consider a different platform.
