Viking VK-K-1900-8 corded phone

The Viking VK-K-1900-8 is a vandal-resistant corded phone built for analog PABX, key system, Centrex or C.O. line extensions. It provides an amplified hearing-aid compatible handset with a sealed push-button volume control. Programmable memory operates without batteries. The unit blocks fraudulent calls from pocket dialers and enforces limited toll restriction.

Multi-number dialer upgrade

This model replaces basic single-line sets by adding a multi-number dialer mode that stores five speed-dial numbers up to 16 digits each, plus a primary auto-dial number up to 32 digits. The jump is worth it when a location needs one-touch access to several external numbers or emergency contacts. A six-digit security code prevents unauthorised reprogramming.

Simple analog installation

Installation connects directly to an analog extension or line; the phone draws power from the circuit so no external supply is needed. Touch-tone or pulse dialing is selected during programming, and a pre-dial pause can be set for systems that require it. Common issues include incorrect dialing-mode selection for the host system and forgetting the security code, which locks out further changes.
