No-contact thermometer for home use

The Viproud forehead thermometer measures temperature without physical contact, providing a hygienic option for adults, children and babies. A single button starts the reading and the result appears on the LCD backlight display within one second. The device also includes an object mode for checking surface temperatures up to 100°C.

Silent operation and battery power

The thermometer runs on two AAA batteries supplied in the box and has no moving parts, so it operates silently in normal use. A mute function lets you disable the beep for sleeping infants, while the fever alarm uses a three-colour screen to flag readings above normal levels. Power draw is minimal for extended battery life.

Replaces contact thermometers

This unit replaces traditional oral, rectal or axillary thermometers where cross-contamination or discomfort are concerns. The 35-reading memory lets you track temperature trends over time without writing them down. The jump is worth it when you need fast, hygienic checks for multiple family members or want to monitor objects such as baby bottles.

Questions about this item

How do I install the thermometer and what is the correct distance?

Insert the two included AAA batteries, aim at the centre of the forehead and hold it 0-1.5 inches away before pressing the measure button.

What maintenance or replacement will this thermometer need later?

Replace the two AAA batteries when the low-power indicator appears; the unit itself has no user-serviceable parts.

What limit appears first during sustained use?

The device stores only 35 readings, so the memory fills before any thermal limit is reached.
