System purpose

This visiPower surveillance kit combines a 3MP sensor with dual-band networking for home or small-business monitoring. It streams 1080p or 1296p video over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet and stores footage locally on a TF card up to 256GB, on an NVR, NAS or cloud service. The embedded Linux OS supports four simultaneous remote viewers. It suits owners who want flexible placement without a dedicated recorder.

Capacity and headroom

Main-stream resolution reaches 1296p at 30fps with a bit-rate ceiling of 4096kbps, while a 360p sub-stream at 15fps conserves bandwidth for remote access. TF-card capacity tops out at 256GB, so continuous 1080p recording will fill the card in a matter of days depending on motion activity. Cloud and NAS targets extend retention but rely on upstream bandwidth that the 100Mbps Ethernet port or Wi-Fi link may limit during peak uploads.

Thermals noise and power

The camera operates on DC12V±5% and draws modest current thanks to H.264 main-profile encoding and 18 IR LEDs that illuminate to 15m. An IR-cut filter switches automatically between colour mode at 0.3–0.5 lux and monochrome at 0 lux, keeping the sensor cool during night operation. The built-in microphone sits at -38dB and the IP-rated housing resists rain and dust without active cooling, so acoustic output remains negligible in normal use.
