Indoor 3 MP Wi-Fi camera

The visiPower 3MP Wi-Fi IP Camera records at 2304 by 1296 pixels using H.265 or H.264 compression. It connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks and stores footage on a microSD card up to 128 GB or in cloud storage. The unit pans 360 degrees and tilts 120 degrees for wide indoor coverage.

Suits single-room monitoring.

This camera suits users who want one indoor device with humanoid detection, motion tracking and two-way voice through the iCSee app. It lacks an RJ45 port, so buyers needing wired Ethernet or a multi-camera NVR setup should look elsewhere. Infrared LEDs reach ten metres in darkness.

128 GB local headroom, ten-metre night range

A 128 GB card holds many days of 3 MP clips before overwriting, while cloud storage adds off-site redundancy. Night vision covers up to ten metres with ten IR LEDs. The built-in speaker and microphone handle two-way audio, and the pan-tilt motors draw up to seven watts during movement.

Questions about this item

Does the camera need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi router to connect wirelessly?

Yes, it connects only through a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network using the 802.11 b/g/n standard and has no Ethernet port.

Will the 3 MP 2304×1296 video stream work on my phone running Android 2.3 or iOS 4.3?

The iCSee app supports Android OS 2.3 and above as well as iOS 4.3 and above, so those versions can view the stream.

How can I confirm the infrared night vision is functioning after installation?

In darkness the 10 IR LEDs activate automatically and provide visibility up to 10 metres; check the live feed for a clear monochrome image at that distance.
