HDMI 1.4b Adapter for XR Glasses

This adapter connects Lightning-equipped iPhones to VITURE XR glasses through an HDMI 1.4b link. It includes a Micro-USB-to-Lightning adapter and two USB-C ports for power and data. The unit measures 58.7 × 54.0 × 18.5 mm and weighs 58.5 g.

HDMI 1.4b Video and USB 2.0 Data Limits

The HDMI 1.4b interface caps video output at the bandwidth defined by that standard. One USB-C port handles 5 V 2.4 A charging while the second carries DisplayPort plus USB 2.0 data. Micro USB is limited to the adapter function only.

Replaces Separate Dongles for Lightning Users

The adapter consolidates the Apple Digital AV adapter, a charging brick and extra cables into a single block. The jump is worthwhile when you want up to 2.8 hours of untethered XR use or continuous play while charging, but it adds no benefit for USB-C phones or devices that already output native DisplayPort.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the HDMI 1.4b adapter with Lightning and Micro USB for my iPhone and XR glasses?

The adapter adds an HDMI 1.4b port, a USB-C port for 5 V 2.4 A charging, a second USB-C port with DisplayPort and USB 2.0, plus a Micro USB to Lightning connector so Lightning iPhones can drive VITURE XR glasses.

What does the HDMI 1.4b connection actually deliver when I plug the glasses in?

The HDMI 1.4b link carries video from the source to the glasses while the USB-C power port keeps the adapter running; the package quotes up to 2.8 hours of playtime or continuous charging.

What does the USB-C 2.0 port limit in practice?

The second USB-C port runs at USB 2.0 speed, so data transfers stay at USB 2.0 rates while it simultaneously carries a DisplayPort video signal.
