Compatible focal lengths

This front-mount telephoto converter is designed for Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2 and 35mm f/2 lenses with 43mm filter threads. It provides 2.2X optical magnification to extend reach without digital cropping.

Optical construction

All-glass multi-coated elements reduce reflections and flare while preserving image quality. The titanium barrel protects the optics during regular handling and transport.

Filter thread requirement

The converter mounts directly on 43mm threads; lenses with other diameters need a stepping ring that is not included. Buyers whose lenses lack 43mm threads cannot attach this converter.

Questions about this item

Will the 43mm filter threads on this 2.2X telephoto converter wear out or need replacement after frequent mounting?

The all-titanium barrel and glass optics are built to withstand years of use, so the 43mm threads should not require replacement under normal handling.

What optical limit appears first when using this 2.2X converter on the Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2 or 35mm f/2 for extended shooting?

The 2.2X magnification extends focal length optically, so the primary limit is the added glass elements which can reduce light transmission and increase flare compared to the bare lens.

Does the all-titanium barrel of this 43mm 2.2X converter dissipate heat during all-day use?

As a passive front-mount optical converter with no electronics, it generates no heat and requires no cooling during continuous operation.
