Wide-Angle Kit for Nikon DSLRs

The Vivitar 52 mm wide-angle lens kit attaches to the 52 mm filter thread of Nikon D810, D5300 and D7200 bodies and expands the field of view by a factor of 43. It is intended for photographers who want a broader perspective for landscapes, architecture or group shots without changing camera systems.

Upgrading from the Built-In Lens

The kit replaces the camera’s native lens view when a wider angle is required, and the 43x attachment provides that jump instantly. The improvement is worthwhile whenever the scene exceeds the standard lens coverage and a separate wide-angle prime is not available.

Sustained Use Behaviour

The steel barrel construction resists flex during extended shooting sessions, and the 62 mm filter thread accepts standard accessories without vignetting. Infrared compatibility allows continued use with IR-modified bodies, while the included cleaning tools keep glass surfaces clear over long periods.
