16-Bay Locking Charging Cabinet

The VIVO steel cabinet stores and charges up to 16 laptops or tablets measuring up to 14 inches. Internal bays measure 24 by 17 by 14 inches and each holder is 6 by 1.5 by 8.8 inches. A built-in power strip with 16 outlets keeps every device powered while overhead cable clips tidy cords. The unit weighs 22.2 lbs and supports a total load of 66 lbs.

Sustained Load Behaviour

Cushioned padding lines every shelf to prevent surface scratches during repeated insertion and removal. The steel frame distributes the 66 lb capacity evenly across the structure so shelves do not bow under continuous daily use. Locking doors stay aligned after thousands of open-close cycles, keeping devices secure throughout a full school or work day.

Build and Mounting Implications

Black powder-coated steel construction resists dents and corrosion in high-traffic areas. Hardware and instructions are included for concrete or brick wall mounting as well as countertop placement. Wall mounting frees floor space while the 24 by 18 by 15 inch footprint fits standard counters when used as a freestanding unit.

Questions about this item

Does the steel cabinet get hot or make noise when all 16 devices charge overnight?

The unit is a passive steel cabinet with built-in outlets and no internal fans, so it produces no operational noise and generates no measurable heat of its own.

What must I already have to mount this cabinet on a concrete or brick wall?

Mounting hardware and instructions are included, so only basic tools such as a drill and masonry anchors are required for wall installation.

Will my existing 14-inch laptops that are 1.2 inches thick fit in the individual bays?

Each bay measures 6 x 1.5 x 8.8 inches and the spec lists a maximum device thickness of 1.2 inches, so 14-inch laptops at that thickness will fit.
