This 250 ft Cat6 UTP bulk cable arrives in a pull box without connectors so installers can cut exact lengths for indoor patch or crossover cables. The solid 23 AWG copper-clad aluminium conductors keep material cost low for non-critical residential or light-commercial runs. It is not rated for outdoor or UV exposure.

Unshielded twisted-pair limits for CCA conductors

The unshielded four-pair construction meets Cat6 geometry but uses copper-clad aluminium rather than pure copper, so DC resistance is higher. That raises voltage drop on long runs and makes the cable unsuitable for Power over Ethernet or any application that demands commercial-grade conductivity. Maximum certified channel distance is therefore reduced compared with solid-copper equivalents.

Pull-box convenience with indoor-only jacket

The white PVC jacket is waterproof but carries no UV rating, so the cable must stay inside walls, ceilings or conduit. The integrated spool box pays out wire cleanly without tangling, yet the CCA cores are less flexible than pure copper and can fracture if bent repeatedly at tight radii. Terminators should use connectors rated for solid conductors to ensure reliable contact.
