  • Strong steel frame holds 33 lbs on desktop
  • Smooth height adjustment from 6 to 17 inches

Extra-Wide 42-Inch Standing Desk Converter

This VIVO desk riser sits on an existing desk and adds a two-tier work surface that moves between sitting and standing heights. The 42 by 22 inch top deck holds a single or dual monitor setup while the lower tray keeps keyboard and mouse level with your hands. A steel frame supports up to 33 pounds on the desktop and 4 pounds on the tray.

Suits Users With Broad Desktops And Light Gear

The 42 inch width fits wide desks and accommodates side-by-side screens without overhang. Pneumatic springs give smooth, stepless height changes from 6 to 17 inches so you can fine-tune posture throughout the day. Buyers needing more than 33 pounds of monitor capacity or a motorised lift should consider a full standing desk instead.

33-Pound Desktop Load Limit

The top surface is rated for 33 pounds, which covers most single monitors and many dual-monitor arms. Exceeding this rating risks instability and premature wear on the spring mechanism. Verify the combined weight of your displays and mounts before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will the 42" x 22" desktop and 30" x 10.5" keyboard tray sit securely on my existing 36.5" x 26" desk without overhang?

The base measures 36.5" x 26", so it fits within those dimensions; the larger top surface and keyboard tray extend forward and to the sides, which is normal for this converter design.

How can I confirm the pneumatic lift is adjusted correctly for my monitor weight up to 33 lbs?

Set the height between 6" and 17", release the touch lock, and the platform should stay level without drifting up or down when loaded within the 33 lb desktop limit.

Does the box include the dual pneumatic springs and the touch height locking mechanism, or must I buy them separately?

All hardware and instructions are provided; the dual pneumatic springs and simple touch height locking mechanism come pre-installed on the steel frame.
