VIVO Cat5e 1000ft UTP Waterproof Outdoor Burial LAN Cable

Outdoor Burial Cable

VIVO Cat5e UTP bulk cable supplied as a 1000ft roll in a pull-box for easy dispensing. Black waterproof jacket protects the four twisted pairs during direct burial and other outdoor runs where moisture is present. Solid copper-clad aluminium conductors keep material cost low for long-distance infrastructure work. Connector-free design lets installers cut and terminate exact lengths on site.

Capacity and Headroom

Cat5e rating supports gigabit Ethernet across the full 1000ft length for typical data networking. 24 AWG solid CCA conductors introduce higher resistance than pure copper, so voltage drop limits Power over Ethernet use and runs approaching the maximum channel length. Waterproof shielding handles ground moisture but the jacket is not UV rated, so exposed aerial sections need additional protection. Not certified to UL, NEC, ETL or TIA standards.

CCA Conductor Limitation

Copper-clad aluminium construction means this cable cannot carry PoE reliably and does not meet commercial building-code certifications. Installers needing standards-compliant or PoE-ready links must choose solid copper alternatives instead.
