Extra-Wide 42" Desk Converter

The VIVO Dark Walnut converter sits on an existing desk and creates a dual-tier standing workstation for single or dual monitor setups. It targets office workers and home users who want to alternate between sitting and standing without replacing their current furniture. The dark walnut top and black steel frame suit professional and home-office aesthetics.

Steel Frame with Synced Keyboard Tray

A durable steel frame resists scratches and supports the 42 x 22 desktop plus a 30 x 10.5 keyboard tray that rises in sync with the top surface. Dual pneumatic springs give smooth lift assist across a 6 to 17 adjustment range with unlimited locking points. The desktop holds up to 33 lbs and the keyboard tray up to 4 lbs, while the 36.5 x 26 base provides stable footing.

Replaces a Fixed-Height Desk Surface

This converter upgrades a static desk into a height-adjustable station without the cost or footprint of a full standing desk. The jump is worth it when you need on-demand posture changes and have a desk deep enough for the 26 base depth. It is not for buyers who need integrated cable management, built-in power outlets, or a worksurface larger than 42 inches wide.

Questions about this item

How high does the 42" desktop rise above my existing desk?

The pneumatic spring lifts the top surface continuously from 6 to 17 inches above the desk, so you can stop at any height in that range for sitting or standing.

Will the 36.5" wide base fit on my current desk without overhang?

The converter's footprint is 36.5 inches wide by 26 inches deep; measure your desk surface to confirm it sits fully supported with no overhang.

Does the keyboard tray move automatically with the top, or must I adjust it separately?

The 30" x 10.5" keyboard tray rises in sync with the desktop through the same pneumatic mechanism, so a single lever motion raises both tiers together.
