Instant Standing Desk Converter

The VIVO Light Wood desk converter sits on an existing desk and lets you alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day. A pneumatic spring system provides smooth height changes from 6 to 17 inches above the desktop. The two-tier design keeps monitors and keyboard at comfortable relative heights.

Thermals Noise Power

Manual pneumatic operation means no motors, fans or electrical draw during adjustments. The steel frame and wood surfaces add no audible noise when raising or lowering the platform. Heat output is negligible because the mechanism is entirely passive.

Build Connectors Mounting

A durable steel frame resists scratches and supports up to 33 lbs on the 42 x 22 inch top surface and 4 lbs on the 30 x 10.5 inch keyboard tray. The 36.5 x 26 inch base footprint requires a desk deep enough to accommodate it. Buyers needing integrated cable routing or monitor-arm mounting points should verify compatibility separately.

Questions about this item

Does the 42" x 22" desktop arrive assembled or must I attach the black steel frame?

The desk converter requires assembly; all hardware and instructions are included so you can mount the frame to the desktop and keyboard tray before first use.

Will the pneumatic springs or the simple-touch height locking mechanism need periodic servicing?

The unit uses counterbalance pneumatic springs and a mechanical locking mechanism designed for maintenance-free operation; no lubrication or adjustment schedule is required.

At what load does the 6" to 17" lift range stop moving smoothly?

The desktop supports up to 33 lbs and the keyboard tray up to 4 lbs; exceeding either capacity will prevent the pneumatic assist from raising the platform through its full 6" to 17" range.
