Active standing workstation

The VIVO White 38 inch desk riser converts an existing desk into a sit-stand station for office workers who want to alternate posture during the day. It supports dual monitor and laptop arrangements on a 37.5 by 15.8 inch top surface. A synchronised keyboard tray measuring 37.2 by 11.8 inches with a 10.4 inch centre section rises with the desktop.

Manual lift mechanics

A single pneumatic spring provides smooth height adjustment from 4.8 to 20 inches with a simple squeeze handle. The steel frame lifts the 33 lb desktop capacity straight upward without extending beyond the 30 by 16 inch base footprint. The keyboard tray carries an additional 4.4 lb load.

Ready-to-use assembly

The unit arrives nearly assembled and only requires the keyboard tray to be attached using the supplied hex tool. All hardware and instructions are included so the riser can be placed on a desk and used immediately. The tray is removable with the same tool if a single-tier layout is preferred.

Questions about this item

How do I install the keyboard tray on the 37.5 x 15.8 desktop, and what step is often missed?

Attach the tray using the included hex tool; the step often missed is tightening all bolts before the first height adjustment.

What maintenance or replacement will the single pneumatic spring need over time?

The spring is sealed and not user-serviceable; if lift force drops below the 33 lbs capacity, the whole riser must be replaced.

At what height does the 4.8 to 20 inch adjustment range hit its limit during sustained daily use?

The upper limit is 20 inches; the spring reaches full extension there and cannot lift the 33 lbs load any higher.
