VIVO White Cat5e UTP Bulk Cable 1000ft 24AWG CCA

Cable type and intended use

This VIVO Cat5e UTP bulk cable is a 1000ft roll of 24 AWG Copper Clad Aluminum wire supplied in a white pull-box. It is designed for indoor network installations where the installer wants to cut custom patch or crossover lengths without pre-fitted connectors.

Build integration and constraints

The spool box feeds cable cleanly during pulls through walls or conduit, and the unshielded four-pair construction keeps the bundle flexible for tight routes. Because the conductors are CCA rather than solid copper, the cable is not certified to UL, NEC, ETL or TIA standards and must not be used for Power over Ethernet devices.

Thermals noise and power

As a passive copper-clad aluminium cable it generates no heat, produces no noise and draws no power during normal data transmission. The CCA construction does introduce higher resistance than solid copper, so voltage drop over long runs will be greater and PoE equipment should be excluded from this link.
