White clamp-on desk extender 24 x 12

The VIVO white clamp-on desk extender adds a 23.7 by 11.7 inch platform that sits flush with the desktop. It supports up to 44 lbs for printers, speakers or a keyboard tray. The surface folds down 90 degrees using release levers when not needed. Installation uses C-clamps that fit tops from 0.5 to 3.5 inches thick.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

Suits users who need extra level workspace that can be folded away on desks with flat edges between 0.5 and 3.5 inches thick. Not for desks with lipped or beveled edges because the clamps cannot grip them. Not for buyers who need a wider or deeper surface than the stated platform dimensions. Not for setups exceeding the 44 lb load limit.

Clamp thickness range and load limit

The C-clamps accept desktop thicknesses from 0.5 to 3.5 inches and the reinforced steel brackets hold a maximum of 44 lbs. These two figures decide whether the extender will mount securely and carry your equipment safely.

Questions about this item

What desk thickness range can the C-clamps on this 24" extension grip?

The adjustable C-clamps fit desktop tops from 0.5" to 3.5" thick and are not compatible with lipped or beveled edges.

Will the folded brackets on this 23.7" platform clear a keyboard tray mounted underneath the desk?

When folded 90°, the bracket height is 5" including the 0.6" platform, so measure your under-desk clearance against that figure.

How can I confirm the 23.7" x 11.7" surface is level with my desktop after clamping it on?

Place a straightedge across the joint; the platform is designed to sit flush, creating a seamless transition with no visible step.
