Instant Standing Desk Riser

The VIVO White Dry Erase riser converts any fixed-height desk into a sit-stand workstation without tools or electricity. A single pneumatic spring lifts the 36 by 15.7 desktop straight up from 4.5 to 20 inches at the squeeze of a handle. The whiteboard finish covers the whole top so notes and sketches stay visible while you work.

Steady Loads All Day

The steel frame holds the desktop to 33 lbs and the keyboard tray to 4.4 lbs, keeping dual monitors or a monitor-plus-laptop combo stable through every height change. The tray rises in sync with the top surface and the centre section narrows to 10.2 inches, so weight stays centred over the base during extended standing sessions.

Simple Assembly, One Adjustment

All hardware and a hex tool ship in the box; the tray bolts on and can be removed later with the same tool. The lift mechanism locks at any point in its range, but the single spring means the force needed to raise the desk varies with the load on top. Builders who need a second tier for accessories or a deeper keyboard shelf will find the fixed 11.8 tray depth limiting.

Questions about this item

Does the pneumatic spring make noise or heat up after hours of daily height changes?

The single pneumatic spring is a manual lift mechanism with no motor or fan, so it operates silently and produces no heat during repeated adjustments.

What tools or parts must I already have to assemble and mount this riser on my existing desk?

All hardware and instructions are included; the only tool required is the supplied hex key for the removable keyboard tray.

Will my current 30-inch deep desk support the 30 x 16 inch base without overhang?

The base footprint is 30 inches deep by 16 inches wide, so a desk at least 30 inches deep provides full support with no overhang.
