20x50 Porro Prism Binoculars

The VJJB 20x50 binoculars use a Porro prism design with a 50 mm objective lens and 28 mm eyepiece to deliver 20x magnification. They are intended for adults and older children who want a compact instrument for bird watching, cruise ship viewing, hiking, sports events or casual stargazing.

Multi-coated BAK4 optics under extended use

Multi-coated aspherical lenses, BAK4 prism glass and green FMC anti-reflective coating combine for 99.8% light transmission. The system maintains bright, sharp images with minimal distortion and true-to-life colour during long observation sessions, while the anti-glare design reduces eye strain in low-light conditions.

Rubber-armoured body with dioptre adjustment

A rubber-coated chassis provides non-slip grip, scratch resistance and shock protection; the construction is daily water-resistant against light rain and splashes but must not be immersed. Central focus and a right-eye dioptre ring allow quick individual calibration, though users who wear spectacles may find the eye relief restrictive for prolonged viewing.

Questions about this item

How warm do the 20x50 binoculars get during all-day use?

The optical glass and rubber armour stay at ambient temperature; there are no electronics or batteries to generate heat.

What extra items are needed to use the 20x50 binoculars?

Nothing else is required — the 28 mm eyepiece and 50 mm objective lens work straight from the box.

Can the 20x50 binoculars share a tripod with an older spotting scope?

No tripod socket is mentioned in the specification, so a separate adapter would be needed for any shared mount.
