Omnidirectional Earhanger Microphone

The Voice Technologies VT910DC is a lightweight omnidirectional condenser microphone designed for stage and broadcast use. Its earhanger style sits on either ear with a flexible contoured loop weighing only 7 grams. A 3.5 mm TRS connector links directly to Sennheiser evolution G4 or G3 wireless systems. The beige finish keeps the capsule discreet during presentations or performances.

Upgrade From Lavalier Or Headset Microphones

This model replaces clip-on lavaliers that can rustle against clothing or traditional headsets that add visible bulk and ear fatigue. The omnidirectional pattern captures sound evenly without precise aiming, so the speaker moves naturally. The jump is worth it when minimal visibility and all-day comfort outweigh the directional isolation of a boom mic.

Sustained Stage And Broadcast Use

The condenser element maintains consistent sensitivity during long sessions without the proximity effect that colours boom-mounted cardioids. Detachable cabling allows quick replacement if a lead is damaged between shows. The secure ear loop prevents microphone shift when the wearer turns or gestures, keeping audio level stable throughout extended performances.

Questions about this item

What type of connector does the VT910DC use to plug into a Sennheiser G4 or G3 bodypack?

It uses a 3.5mm TRS connector designed for Sennheiser evolution G4 and G3 wireless microphone systems.

How is the earhanger secured on the ear, and what is the common mistake?

The flexible contoured loop hooks over either ear; the common mistake is forcing the loop instead of gently shaping it for a secure, comfortable fit.

Can the cable be replaced if it becomes damaged after extended use?

Yes, the cable is detachable, so a damaged cable can be swapped out without replacing the entire microphone capsule.
