100FT Optical DisplayPort 1.4 Cable

This Vszerda cable is an active optical fiber link built to the DisplayPort 1.4 standard. It carries 8K video at 60Hz and 4K at 144Hz over a 32.4Gbps bandwidth across the full 100FT length. The 4-core fiber construction eliminates signal loss over distance. 24K gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and ensure a reliable handshake.

Home theatre, gaming and VR at long range

The directional design suits fixed installs where a PC or RTX 3070 3080 graphics card sits far from a projector, HDTV or VR headset. Buyers who need a short passive copper cable or a reversible plug should look elsewhere. The cable must be connected with the source and display ends in the correct orientation.

Unidirectional fiber requires correct orientation

Each end is marked for source or display and the link will not function if reversed. This single constraint decides whether the cable works in your installation. Verify the labels before routing the cable through walls or conduit.

Questions about this item

What length and connector type does this 100FT optical cable use for an 8K DisplayPort setup?

The cable measures 100FT and uses DisplayPort 1.4 connectors with 24K gold-plated contacts on both ends.

Which end of this directional fiber cable connects to the RTX 3070 or 3080 graphics card?

The source-marked plug goes into the GPU DisplayPort output; the display-marked plug goes into the monitor or projector input.

How often should the 4-core optical fiber and gold-plated connectors be inspected or replaced?

Optical fiber does not degrade like copper; inspect connectors only if signal drops appear, otherwise no scheduled replacement is needed.
