12VHPWR adapter for high-end RTX cards

This 12VHPWR 16-pin cable connects four 8-pin PCIe 5.0 outputs to a single 12+4 pin graphics card connector. The 90-degree angle and 5.9-inch length suit compact builds using GeForce RTX 4090, 4080, 4070Ti or 3090Ti models. Type B pinout matches the card side of the connection.

Type B pinout decides compatibility

The cable uses the Type B wiring standard, so it only fits graphics cards that expect that pin arrangement on their 12VHPWR socket. Builders whose cards require Type A must choose a different adapter. No other specifications determine whether this part will work.

What does the PCIe 5.0 label on this cable mean for the 8-pin connectors?
