PCI-e 5.0 12VHPWR extension cable

This 40 cm sleeved cable converts a single 16-pin (12+4) male connector into four 8-pin (6+2) female sockets. It is built for GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, 40-series and 50-series graphics cards that use the 12VHPWR interface. The 16 AWG tinned copper conductors keep resistance low for stable power delivery. Four acrylic cable combs are included for tidy routing inside the case.

600 W limit and connector compatibility

The assembly is rated for up to 600 W total output, so the power supply must be able to supply that load through its own 8-pin (6+2) ports. It does not fit the 12-pin connector found on RTX 3080 or 3090 models, nor the 8-pin connector on RTX 4070 cards. Builders whose PSU lacks enough 8-pin PCIe sockets or whose GPU uses a different connector cannot use this extender.

16 AWG tinned copper wire gauge

The single specification that decides suitability is the 16 AWG tinned copper construction, which supports the 600 W rating and PCI-e 5.0 signalling. If a system requires a different wire gauge, a higher current rating, or a native 12V-2x6 plug without an extension, this cable will not meet the requirement.
