Splits one 5 V 3-pin motherboard header into two AURA RGB channels, includes a gender changer and supports up to 15 W total load with runs under 3.3 ft
This two-pack provides a 5 V 3-pin AURA RGB splitter cable that turns a single motherboard header into two female ports. It is designed for builders who want to run two RGB fans or LED strips from one 5 V addressable header. A 3-pin male-to-male gender changer adapter is included for added flexibility. The cables are 1 foot long and intended for internal use only.
The splitter draws no extra power of its own and relies on the motherboard header, which typically supplies up to 15 W at 5 V. Connected RGB devices should stay under 3.3 ft total length to avoid voltage drop. If lighting appears dim, the header may be overloaded and devices should be reduced. No active cooling or fan noise is introduced by the cable.
This cable works exclusively with 5 V 3-pin addressable RGB headers and is not compatible with 12 V 4-pin RGB systems. The arrow mark on each plug must align with the 5 V pin on the motherboard for correct operation. Buyers with 12 V RGB ecosystems cannot use this splitter.

Align the arrow mark on each female plug with the 5V pin on the motherboard header, then attach the male-to-male gender changer if the header needs a pin adapter.
Keep the total RGB lighting run under 3.3 ft; longer runs can overload the motherboard's 15 W header and cause dimming.
The header typically supplies 5 V at 3 A (15 W); if connected fans or strips dim, reduce the device count until brightness returns.
