  • Share 4 USB 2.0 peripherals between two computers with one button
  • Driver-free operation on Windows 10, 8.1, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux, Chrome OS
  • LED indicator shows active host at a glance
  • Reduces cable swapping and eliminates need for network sharing software
  • Includes two USB cables for immediate setup

Two-computer four-device sharing

This USB 2.0 KVM switch connects two computers to four shared peripherals with a single button press. It removes the need to unplug cables or configure network sharing software. The unit works with Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XP, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS without driver installation. A built-in LED shows which host is active.

Plug-and-play peripheral hub

The switch provides four USB 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice, printers, scanners, card readers or flash drives. Two USB cables are included to link the host computers, so no extra cables are required. Power is drawn from the connected computers, leaving mains sockets free. The compact box sits on a desk without blocking other ports.

Ideal for dual-PC desks, not for high-speed storage

Office workers and home users who alternate between two machines will appreciate the instant swapping. Buyers who need USB 3.0 or faster transfer rates for external SSDs should look elsewhere, as the switch is limited to USB 2.0 speeds. It also does not support video switching, so separate monitor inputs are still needed.

Questions about this item

What is the bandwidth ceiling of the USB 2.0 ports when all four devices are active?

The switch uses USB 2.0, so the shared bus tops out at the standard 2.0 signalling rate for every connected peripheral.

Does the box get warm or make noise during all-day switching between two PCs?

It has no fan and no active cooling; the plastic enclosure stays at room temperature and runs silently.

Which cables must I already own to connect both computers and four peripherals?

You need two USB A-to-B cables for the upstream links to each computer plus standard USB cables for every keyboard, mouse, printer or other device you want to share.
