Lets two computers share four USB 2.0 devices with one-button switching and LED status, powered via USB-C for external drives
The Vszerda KVM switch lets you share four USB 2.0 devices between two computers with a single button press. It removes the need to unplug cables or configure network sharing software. The unit works with Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS without driver installation. Office and home users who alternate between two machines gain a tidy, driver-free workflow.
A push button on the top toggles the active host and an LED shows which computer is currently connected. Four downstream USB 2.0 ports accept keyboards, mice, printers, scanners or similar peripherals. A USB-C port supplies extra power so bus-powered devices such as external hard drives or video cameras operate reliably. No external power adapter is required beyond the USB-C link.
Verify that each computer has a free USB port for the upstream cables and that the USB-C power input can be reached from one of the hosts or a suitable charger. Confirm that the peripherals you intend to share are USB 2.0 compatible and do not demand more current than the USB-C supply can deliver. The switch does not support video or audio signals.

Yes, all four shared peripherals operate at USB 2.0 speeds, so high-bandwidth devices will be limited by that standard.
It requires a free USB-C port for power and two USB cables to the host computers, plus four ports for your keyboard, mouse, printer and scanner.
Connect the USB-C power cable first, then link both computers and your four peripherals; the step people skip is powering the switch before attaching devices.
