Controls two computers with one keyboard, mouse and monitor at 4K 30Hz and shares four USB 2.0 devices
This KVM switch lets two computers share a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. It includes an integrated four-port USB 2.0 hub so peripherals such as a barcode scanner, flash drive, printer or camera can be swapped between the two systems with one button. No driver installation is required and both wired and wireless input devices are supported.
The unit draws power directly from the two USB-B host cables, so no external power adapter is needed. Its metal enclosure acts as a heatsink, keeping the switch silent during normal operation. Power consumption stays low because the device only routes signals and supplies the hub ports from the host connections.
A sturdy metal case protects the internal circuitry and resists accidental drops on a desktop. The package supplies a remote push-button on a cable so the switch can be placed out of the way while the button stays within reach. Hot-plug support means computers and peripherals can be connected or disconnected without restarting either system.

Connect each computer to the switch using the supplied HDMI and USB-B cables, plug the remote switch cable into the dedicated port on the unit, then press the remote or front-panel button to change ports. No driver installation is required.
The switch has no user-serviceable parts and draws power from the USB-B cables, so there is no external adapter to replace. If a USB 2.0 port or HDMI connector wears out, the whole unit would need swapping.
The HDMI 1.4a link caps the 3840×2160 signal at 30 Hz, so sustained 4K work stays at that refresh rate; higher frame rates would require a different interface.
