2-Port HDMI USB KVM Switch for Dual-Computer Setups

This Vszerda KVM switch lets two computers share one HD 4K monitor and three USB 2.0 peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse or scanner. It connects each computer through an integrated HDMI and USB 2-in-1 cable, reducing cable clutter on the desk. The unit supports Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Unix and DOS without requiring additional drivers or an external power adapter. It suits home offices, classrooms or meeting rooms where users alternate between two systems.

Stable 4K Output at 30Hz During Extended Sessions

The HDMI output delivers a maximum resolution of 3840x2160 at 30Hz, maintaining consistent image quality during long work or teaching periods. Because the link runs over standard HDMI without compression, colour accuracy and frame timing remain steady even when the switch sits idle for hours before a changeover. The USB 2.0 hub ports keep keyboard and mouse response predictable, avoiding the latency spikes that can appear on bus-powered hubs under sustained traffic. No active cooling is required, so silent operation continues indefinitely.

HDMI 30Hz and USB 2.0 Bandwidth Define

The 30Hz refresh ceiling means fast-motion content such as high-frame-rate gaming or 60Hz video playback will not display at full smoothness. USB 2.0 bandwidth restricts connected peripherals to low-speed devices; storage drives or high-resolution webcams will not operate at their rated throughput. Switching is manual via the front panel button or the included wired remote, so automated or hot-key switching is not available. The switch handles two computers only; a third system cannot be added.

Questions about this item

Does the Vszerda KVM switch need its own power adapter to run all day?

No, it draws power from the connected computers through the USB 2.0 cables so there is no external power brick to add heat or noise.

What cables must I already have to connect two PCs to this switch?

Nothing extra — the box includes two 2-in-1 KVM cables that each carry HDMI and USB 2.0, so both computers plug in straight away.

Will my older 1080p monitor work with the 3840x2160@30Hz output of this KVM?

Yes, the switch passes whatever resolution the monitor supports up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, so a 1080p display works without any setting changes.
