2x4 HDMI Matrix with Audio

The Vszerda 2x4 HDMI matrix switch routes two HDMI sources to four displays simultaneously. All four outputs mirror the same image at up to 4K 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz with HDR and 3D support. HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2 compliance ensures compatibility with protected content. A 3.5 mm jack and SPDIF port provide separate analogue and digital audio extraction.

Switching by remote or front button

Installers who need identical content on multiple screens will benefit from the mirrored output. Users who require independent images on each display should consider a different solution. The unit is controlled either by the included IR remote or the panel button, so switching does not require direct access to the device.

4K 60 Hz HDMI 2.0 HDCP 2.2

The single specification that decides suitability is the 4K 60 Hz HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 capability. If the source and displays operate within this standard the matrix will pass video and audio without downscaling. Sources or sinks limited to lower versions will still work but cannot exploit the full bandwidth.

Questions about this item

Does the Vszerda 2x4 HDMI Matrix Switch include cables or do I need to buy HDMI leads separately?

The box contains the switch, an IR remote, a power adapter and a user manual. HDMI cables are not included, so you will need to source leads for the two inputs and four outputs.

Should I choose the 4K 60Hz model or is there a lower-spec version that still handles 1080p?

This unit is the single 4K 60Hz variant (model KS901D). It also passes 1080p, 720p and 3D signals, so no separate lower-spec version exists in the lineup.

What does the 4K 60Hz headline figure mean when the switch is connected to a TV and a game console?

It means the switch can pass a 3840 x 2160 signal at 60 frames per second with HDR and HDCP 2.2, so a console or PC running at that resolution will display without downscaling.
