30 cm 24-pin ATX extension

This 30 cm cable extends a 24-pin motherboard connector using a 20+4-pin design. The 18 AWG conductors handle standard desktop power delivery. It suits builders who need extra length when routing the main power cable behind a motherboard tray.

Sustained load behaviour

The 18 AWG wires maintain stable current delivery during continuous operation without overheating. Voltage drop stays low across the 30 cm run under full system load. Builders who need longer reach or multiple extensions should consider a different length.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 18AWG wire generate when the 24-pin connector runs continuously?

The 18AWG conductors are rated for the current a standard 24-pin motherboard draw requires, so heat stays within normal operating limits for internal power cables.

What motherboard connector does the 20+4Pin plug require to work?

It fits any standard 24-pin ATX motherboard socket; the 20+4 design splits to match both 20-pin and 24-pin headers.
