SKU CH-2VYK-NWVDV

Extends a 4-pin CPU fan connection by 30cm for flexible case routing

  • 30 cm reach lets you route the cable neatly behind the motherboard tray
  • 4-pin PWM connector keeps automatic fan-speed control working
  • female-to-male design plugs straight into the existing CPU fan header
  • black sleeving matches standard case wiring for a clean look

30 cm 4-pin CPU fan extension

This 30 cm cable extends the reach of a standard 4-pin PWM fan header on the motherboard. It lets builders route the fan cable behind the motherboard tray or to a distant fan mount without tension. The extension suits anyone assembling a new system or repositioning an existing cooler in a larger chassis.

Thermals noise and power draw

The cable is a passive copper link, so it adds no heat, no audible noise and no measurable power draw of its own. Fan speed control and monitoring signals pass through unchanged, leaving the cooler’s thermal performance exactly as it was before the extension was fitted.

Questions about this item

How do I connect the 30cm 4 Pin extension to the motherboard CPU fan header without reversing the keyed connector?

Align the tab on the 4 Pin plug with the notch on the motherboard header, push straight in until it clicks, then route the 30cm cable clear of moving fans.

Will the 30cm 4 Pin cable insulation or connectors degrade and need replacement under normal PC temperatures?

The PVC sleeving and gold-plated pins are rated for continuous internal case temperatures, so no scheduled replacement is required unless physical damage occurs.
