  • Supports both PS/2 keyboards and mice for flexible use
  • Compact and lightweight for easy portability

What the adapter does

The Vszerda PS/2 to USB adapter converts a PS/2 keyboard or mouse to a USB connection. It supports USB 1.1 and 2.0 standards for broad compatibility. Each pack contains three green adapters for multiple devices. No software driver is required for installation.

When to use it

This adapter replaces a direct PS/2 port on modern systems that only provide USB ports. The jump is worth it when you want to keep using a reliable PS/2 keyboard or mouse with a newer computer. It also works with laptops that lack legacy ports.

Practical limits

The adapter operates within the USB 1.1 and 2.0 specifications, so data rates are limited to those standards. It is a passive converter designed for basic input devices only. Advanced keyboard features or high-polling-rate mice may not function as intended.

The adapter uses a USB male connector that fits standard USB 1.1 and 2.0 Type-A ports on a PC or laptop.

How do I install the Vszerda PS/2 to USB adapter, and what common step should I avoid?

Plug the PS/2 keyboard or mouse into the green female port, then insert the USB male end into the computer; no driver installation is required.
