Four-input HDMI 2.0 switch with ARC extractor
The Vszerda unit routes four HDMI sources to one display and pulls audio through an ARC-enabled output. It handles 480i through 4K at 60 Hz with 24, 30 or 36 bit deep colour. Supported audio formats include LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, passed through without decoding. An IR remote selects the active input.
Metal enclosure with Toslink.
A compact metal chassis provides four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output that carries ARC back to a sound system. Separate Toslink and coaxial ports mirror the ARC stream, while a 3.5 mm jack and stereo RCA connections supply extracted analogue audio. HDMI 2.0b cables up to three metres at 4K 60 Hz or five metres at 4K 30 Hz are supported. The switch is not compatible with DVI signals.
Replaces basic selectors that lack audio breakout
This device upgrades a simple HDMI switch when a soundbar or AV receiver needs a digital or analogue feed separate from the TV. It is not for installations that require HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, variable refresh rate or eARC. The jump is worthwhile when 18 Gbps throughput and multi-format audio extraction are needed for current 4K sources.

Questions about this item
Does the HDMI 2.0b interface on this switch cap video at 18 Gbps?
Yes, the switch complies with HDMI 2.0b and handles a maximum baud rate of 18 Gbps per display, supporting 4K at 60 Hz with 36-bit colour depth.
What cables and space are needed to mount the four inputs and ARC output?
Four HDMI 2.0b source cables up to 3 metres for 4K 60 Hz (or 5 metres for 4K 30 Hz), one HDMI 2.0b display cable, plus optional Toslink or coaxial cables for ARC audio extraction.
How is the switch installed and which audio output is often confused?
Connect sources to the four HDMI inputs, the display to the HDMI output, then choose Toslink or coaxial for ARC return audio; the 3.5 mm jack and R/L ports only extract audio and do not support ARC.
