Splits one 4-pin Molex connector into two 5 V and two 12 V 3-pin fan headers, 12.5 cm long
This 12.5 cm cable converts a single 4-pin Molex connector into two 5 V and two 12 V three-pin outputs. It is built for PC builders who need to run multiple 3-pin fans from one Molex header.
When a motherboard or fan controller lacks enough 3-pin sockets, this adapter adds four connections without occupying extra board headers. The jump is worthwhile whenever the existing 3-pin ports are exhausted but a Molex plug is free.
Each output maintains its rated 5 V or 12 V line continuously, so fan speeds stay consistent during prolonged operation. The short 12.5 cm run keeps resistance low, preventing voltage drop that could otherwise slow fans over time.

The cable is 12.5 cm long and splits into two white 12 V and two black 5 V 3-pin plugs, so allow enough room for the split and each connector to seat without tension.
Plug the single 4-pin Molex male into a standard peripheral power lead; the cable internally routes 5 V to the two black 3-pin plugs and 12 V to the two white 3-pin plugs.
The 3-pin connectors are rated for normal internal use; if a plug becomes loose or a wire frays, replace the whole 10 g adapter cable.
