Vszerda 4-Pin PWM Fan Splitter Cable 1 to 2

SKU CH-ANYS-5RCEW

Splits one motherboard 4-pin PWM header into two fan connectors for simultaneous speed control

  • Connect two PWM fans to one motherboard header
  • Motherboard 4-pin female to two fan 4-pin male connectors
  • PWM signal passed through for automatic speed control
  • Extends fan reach inside the case

4-Pin PWM Fan Splitter Cable 1 to 2

The Vszerda splitter connects one motherboard 4-pin PWM header to two 4-pin PWM fans. It passes the PWM control signal to both fans so the motherboard can regulate speed based on temperature. The cable is intended for internal use in desktop PCs where a single header must drive a pair of fans.

Practical limits of the 4-pin PWM interface

The motherboard header supplies a single PWM signal and a shared tachometer line, so both fans receive identical speed commands and only one fan’s RPM is reported back. Total current draw of the two fans must stay within the header’s rated limit, otherwise the header or splitter can overheat. Cable length adds resistance, which can reduce voltage at the fan connectors on very long runs.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the single 1-to-2 splitter and other multi-fan cable options?

This cable splits one motherboard 4-pin PWM header into two 4-pin male connectors, letting you run two PWM fans from a single header with speed control and RPM reporting from the primary fan.

What does the 4-pin PWM connection actually do once the cable is installed in my PC?

It carries power, ground, a PWM speed-control signal and a tachometer wire so the motherboard can regulate both fans together while reading the speed of the fan plugged into the first male connector.
