Four-Computer KVM Switch

The Vszerda HDMI KVM switch lets four computers share a single 4K monitor and three USB 2.0 peripherals such as a keyboard, mouse and scanner. It is aimed at office workers, home users and test environments who need to control multiple systems from one desk without unplugging cables. The package includes four 2-in-1 KVM cables and a wired remote button for immediate use.

Build Integration

Each computer connects through a supplied 2-in-1 cable that carries both HDMI video and USB 2.0 data, so no separate video or USB leads are required. The switch provides one HDMI output for the display and three USB ports for shared devices, freeing up desk space and reducing cable clutter. Switching is handled by a front-panel button or the included wired remote, and no driver installation is needed on Windows, Mac OS, Linux, UNIX or DOS.

Sustained Operation

Video output is limited to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, which is adequate for productivity tasks but not for high-refresh gaming or smooth video playback. USB peripherals operate at USB 2.0 speeds, so large file transfers through a shared drive will be slower than a direct connection. The unit has no external power supply mentioned, so it draws power from the attached computers and is intended for continuous desktop use rather than bandwidth-intensive workloads.

Questions about this item

Will the 30 Hz refresh rate limit smoothness when I use the 3840 x 2160 resolution all day?

The switch tops out at 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz, so fast motion will not look as fluid as a 60 Hz signal.

Does the USB 2.0 hub add noticeable heat or fan noise during continuous operation?

The unit has no fan and draws little power, so it stays silent and only warm to the touch.

My computers only have HDMI and USB-A ports — do I need any extra adapters or cables?

Four 2-in-1 HDMI/USB cables and a wired remote are included, so nothing else is required.
