One Monitor for Four Computers

This KVM switch lets a single HDMI monitor, one keyboard, one mouse and two USB 3.0 peripherals serve four computers, Macs, laptops, DVRs or NVRs. It includes all four KVM cables, a wired remote push button and a 5 V 2 A power adapter. Wireless keyboards, Apple keyboards and touch screens are supported.

Verify Ports and Cabling

Each source must provide an HDMI output and a USB port for the supplied KVM cables. The monitor must accept HDMI input. If any computer lacks HDMI, an active converter with a built-in chip is required; the supplier notes that converter quality affects operation. The switch needs the included DC power adapter connected before the computers are powered on.

Switching and Signal Handling

Four switching methods are available: hot-key sequences, double-clicking the mouse wheel, the front-panel button or the wired remote. The HDMI 2.0 path supports HDCP 2.2, EDID and HDR10 at 4096×2160 or 3840×2160 at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 colour. Two USB 3.0 ports free up the host machines for shared storage or other high-speed peripherals.

Questions about this item

What cables and accessories come in the box, and do I need to buy anything else?

The package includes the KVM switch, four KVM cables, a DC 5V 2A power adapter, a manual and a wired remote push-button switch. If your computers lack HDMI ports you will need to buy a reliable converter with a chip.

How do I decide which switching method to use?

Four methods are available: hotkey combinations (Num Lock, Ctrl or Scroll Lock sequences), double-clicking the mouse wheel with left or right button, the front panel button, or the wired remote push button. Choose the one that fits your workflow.

What does 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 mean for my monitor?

The switch supports resolutions up to 4096x2160@60Hz and 3840x2160@60Hz with full 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR10, so text stays sharp and colour accuracy is preserved at 60 frames per second.
