Shares four USB 3.0 peripherals across four computers with one-button switching and blue LED indication
This Vszerda 404-CY01 KVM switch lets four computers share four USB 3.0 peripherals such as printers, scanners, keyboards and mice. It includes four USB 3.0 cables so the connection is ready immediately. The unit is driver-free on Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Chrome OS for simple plug-and-play operation.
USB 3.0 delivers data rates up to 5 Gb/s and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. High-power peripherals require an external 5 V adapter which is not supplied with the switch. The blue LED indicates which computer currently controls the shared devices.
This switch replaces the need to physically unplug and reconnect USB cables when moving between four computers. The single-button toggle changes the active PC instantly without network-sharing software. The improvement is worthwhile for users who regularly access multiple systems with the same keyboard, mouse, printer or scanner.

The 404-CY01 is built for four computers and four USB peripherals; if you only need two ports you would leave two inputs unused, so a two-port switch would be more compact.
5 Gb/s is the peak USB 3.0 bandwidth shared across all four downstream ports; a keyboard uses negligible throughput while a flash drive can approach that limit when it is the only active device.
The switch draws 5 V from the host and requires an external 5 V adapter (not included) when high-power devices are connected, so bus power alone may not be sufficient for large drives.
