2x2 Video Wall Controller with 4 HDMI Outputs

The Vszerda unit takes a single HDMI source and splits it across four displays in a 2x2 grid. It suits installers building digital-signage walls, control-room monitors or multi-screen gaming setups. The device also handles 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 2x1, 3x1 and 4x1 layouts for flexible screen arrangements.

HDMI 4K at 30 Hz bandwidth limit

Input and output resolutions top out at 4K 30 Hz, with backward compatibility for 1080 and 720 signals. The 30 Hz ceiling means fast-motion content may show judder, and the single input cannot drive independent images on each screen. Bandwidth is shared across all four outputs, so total pixel throughput is fixed.

Front-panel button and IR remote switching

Press the button on the unit or use the supplied IR remote to cycle through the eight display modes. The 12 V power adapter includes over-current protection. No software or drivers are required, but the remote needs clear line of sight and the button only advances modes in a fixed sequence.

Questions about this item

Which splicing mode should I choose for four displays in a 2x2 grid?

Select the 2x2 mode to split one HDMI source across four screens arranged in two rows and two columns; the controller also offers 1x2, 1x3, 1x4, 2x1, 3x1 and 4x1 layouts for other arrangements.

What does 4K 30Hz mean when the signal reaches each of the four screens?

Each HDMI output delivers up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second; lower resolutions such as 1080p and 720p are also accepted and displayed without extra setup.

Which HDMI standard limits the 4K 30Hz output and what does it cap in practice?

The HDMI interface on this controller caps video at 4K 30Hz per output, so each of the four displays receives a maximum of 30 frames per second at that resolution.
