Connect four fans from one Molex connector

This adapter splits a single 5.25 inch Molex LP4 male connector into four TX3 3-pin female headers. Two headers supply 12 V DC and two supply 5 V DC, allowing mixed voltage fan operation from one power supply lead.

Two fans run at reduced speed

The 5 V DC headers lower the voltage to those fans, cutting noise and airflow compared with the 12 V headers. All four connectors carry only power and ground wires, so no tachometer signal reaches the motherboard and fan speed cannot be monitored.
