Eight-Port KVM with Integrated Cabling

The Vszerda 8 Port HDMI KVM Switch lets eight computers, laptops, DVRs or NVRs share one monitor, one keyboard, one mouse and a single USB 2.0 peripheral. It ships with eight HDMI cables and eight USB 2.0 cables, so every connection is ready without extra purchases. The metal housing is rack-mountable and the unit supports Windows, Linux, Mac, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora and Raspberry Pi platforms. Hot-key sequences, a mouse-wheel shortcut, front-panel buttons and a wired remote push button give four ways to change the active port.

Rack-Mountable Hub for Dense Workstations

A DC 5 V 2 A power adapter feeds the switch, which draws 3.2 W under operation. Each of the eight USB 2.0 upstream ports carries keyboard, mouse and peripheral traffic back to the selected host, while the single HDMI output drives the shared display. Because all required cables are included, the only external items needed are the monitor and the USB devices themselves. The compact metal chassis fits standard racks, freeing desk space in server rooms, broadcast booths or multi-system labs.

Stable 4K 30 Hz Output Under Continuous Switching

The HDMI adopter-certified engine delivers resolutions up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, plus 3440x1440, 3840x1620, 3840x1080 and 3200x1800 at the same refresh rate. Auto-scan intervals run from 8 to 999 seconds for unattended monitoring. The certified signal processing keeps the picture steady during rapid port changes and long sessions, avoiding the flicker or handshake drops that uncertified switches can exhibit. Buyers who need 60 Hz 4K or higher bandwidth should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum resolution the KVM switch can sustain without dropping frames?

The switch outputs up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, so sustained use stays within that 30 Hz ceiling.

How much heat or noise does the unit produce when left on continuously?

It draws only 3.2 W from the 5 V 2 A adapter, runs fan-less in a metal housing and therefore stays silent and cool all day.

Which cables and power supply must already be on hand before the switch will work?

Nothing extra is required — the box includes eight HDMI cables, eight USB 2.0 cables, the 5 V 2 A power adapter and a wired remote button.
