90W DC-ATX Power Module

The Vszerda 90W 12V DC-ATX module converts a single 12V DC input into standard ATX voltages for low-power systems. It targets builders of Mini-ITX, HTPC, POS terminals, industrial control boxes and other compact computers where an internal AC-DC supply will not fit.

12V Input with 5% Tolerance

The unit accepts 12V DC with a plus or minus 5% range and delivers up to 90W total output at 90% efficiency or greater. Regulated rails include +3.3V, +5V, +5VSB, +12V and -12V, each held within specified minimum and maximum voltages and ripple limits. Operation is rated from 0°C to 55°C ambient temperature.

Fanless Solid-Capacitor Build

Industrial-grade solid capacitors and a fanless design give silent, dust-immune operation suited to harsh environments. The board measures approximately 35 by 47 by 12 mm without wires and uses a 20-pin ATX connector for direct motherboard mounting. An external 12V power adapter must be supplied separately to feed the DC input.

Questions about this item

Should I pick a different wattage or form-factor version of this 90 W DC-ATX module?

The supplier lists only this single 90 W, 20-pin model measuring 35 × 47 × 12 mm; no other capacities or sizes are offered.

What does the 90 W rating actually deliver inside a Mini-ITX or 1U build?

At 90 % efficiency the board supplies up to 4 A on +3.3 V, 4 A on +5 V, 4 A on +12 V and 0.05 A on -12 V, with 5 VSB at 2 A for standby.

The 20-pin ATX connector — does it limit power compared to a 24-pin standard?

The 20-pin plug carries the same +3.3 V, +5 V, +12 V and -12 V rails specified at 90 W total; the four extra pins on a 24-pin connector are simply additional ground and +3.3 V/+5 V/+12 V contacts not required for this output level.
