Micro HDMI adapter for cameras and SBCs
The Vszerda AreMe adapter converts a micro HDMI port on a camera, laptop, tablet or Raspberry Pi 4 to a standard HDMI socket. It supports video output up to 8K at 60Hz and is backward compatible with 4K at 120Hz, 4K at 60Hz, 2K at 240Hz and 1080p at up to 240Hz. No drivers or extra software are required for operation.
Passive design with aluminium housing
The adapter weighs .009 kilograms and uses a compact aluminium alloy shell that dissipates heat without a fan. Because it draws power only from the source device, there is no external supply and no audible noise during normal playback or recording sessions. The passive construction keeps the signal path simple and reliable.
Sustained 8K output without throttling
Under continuous 8K@60Hz or high-refresh 4K@120Hz loads the aluminium body maintains stable temperatures, so the link stays locked without drop-outs. The connector is rated for repeated insertion cycles on devices such as the Sony A6000, A6400, A6500, A73, A7S, Canon EOS M50, Nikon B500, GoPro Hero 7 through Hero 3 and Raspberry Pi 4. Builders who need an active signal booster or a longer cable run will need a different solution.

Questions about this item
How do I install the Micro HDMI adapter without damaging the port on my Sony A6000?
Align the Micro HDMI male plug straight with the camera port and press gently until fully seated; forcing it at an angle bends the fragile pins inside the micro connector.
Will the aluminum housing or connectors need replacement after frequent camera rig changes?
The aluminum alloy shell and gold-plated contacts are rated for thousands of insertions; only replace the adapter if the Micro HDMI plug becomes loose or video drops out.
What resolution limit appears first when recording 8K@60Hz continuously on a Raspberry Pi 4?
The Pi 4's own HDMI controller caps output at 4K@60Hz, so the adapter's 8K@60Hz headroom is never reached; sustained use stays at 4K.
