Converts a standard Molex power connector to a floppy-drive power plug with a 20 cm cable
This adapter cable converts a standard large 4-pin Molex power connector into a smaller 4-pin floppy drive connector. It allows older floppy disk drives or compatible peripherals to draw power from a modern power supply. The 20 cm length provides enough reach for typical internal routing inside a desktop chassis.
As a passive wiring harness the cable generates no heat and produces no audible noise during operation. It simply transmits the voltages supplied by the power supply unit to the attached device. Power draw depends entirely on the connected floppy drive and adds no measurable overhead of its own.

Plug the big 4-pin end into a free Molex connector from the power supply, then attach the small 4-pin end to the floppy drive's power port, ensuring both click fully into place.
The cable is a passive wire assembly; under normal desktop use the connectors and insulation last the life of the system and do not require scheduled replacement.
