Vszerda Cat 7 Flat Ethernet Cable 10 Gbps

This flat Cat 7 cable delivers up to 10 Gbps bandwidth at 600 MHz for gaming, streaming and server use. It suits home users and small-office setups needing reliable wired links. Builders who require longer runs or in-wall rated jackets should look elsewhere. The 5 m length fits typical desk-to-router distances.

Sustained throughput and shielding

Four shielded twisted pairs with 100% bare copper conductors maintain signal integrity over extended sessions. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist corrosion while the SSTP construction minimises crosstalk and external noise. The 32 AWG multi-strand wires stay flexible during repeated routing. Performance holds steady across compatible Cat 5 through Cat 7 equipment.

Installation notes and common issues

Flat profile slides under carpets and along baseboards without tangling. Moulded strain-relief boots and snagless moulds protect the connector latch during insertion. Ensure the tab clicks fully into the port; a partial seat causes intermittent link drops. Avoid sharp bends tighter than the cable’s natural curve to prevent conductor fatigue.

Questions about this item

Does the flat 32 AWG Cat 7 cable overheat or draw extra power when running at 10 Gbps all day?

No, it is a passive copper cable with no active electronics, so it generates no heat and consumes no power beyond the negligible resistance of the 32 AWG conductors.

What devices must I already own to use this cable's RJ45 connectors?

Any equipment with a standard 8P8C Ethernet port — router, switch, modem, PC, laptop, NAS, printer, VoIP phone, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 or PS4 — will accept the gold-plated plugs directly.

Will this Cat 7 cable work reliably with my older Cat 5e wall jacks and switch ports?

Yes, the cable is backwards compatible with Cat 5, Cat 5e, Cat 6 and Cat 6A links, so it will negotiate the highest speed both ends support without any configuration.
