20-metre flat Cat 7 cable for 10 Gbps networking

This 20-metre flat Cat 7 cable delivers 10 Gbps throughput at 600 MHz bandwidth. It uses 32 AWG bare-copper conductors in a four-pair SSTP construction with gold-plated RJ45 connectors. The 65.62 ft length suits runs between rooms or across a home office. Condition is new.

Flat profile simplifies routing under carpets

The flat profile simplifies routing under carpets, along skirting boards or through tight gaps without tangling. Multi-strand conductors keep the cable flexible for repeated repositioning. Gold-plated contacts and snagless moulded boots resist corrosion and ensure a secure latch. Backward compatibility covers Cat 5 through Cat 6A equipment.

Suits gamers, streamers

Suits gamers, streamers and small-server links that need 10 Gbps over copper. Buyers who require longer runs, shielded bulk cable for termination, or outdoor-rated jackets should look at something else. No PoE rating or plenum rating is specified in the data.

Questions about this item

Will the 32 AWG conductors limit throughput before the 10 Gbps rating is reached?

The cable uses 32 AWG multi‑strand bare copper and is specified for 10000 Mbps at 600 MHz, so the gauge supports the rated speed over the 20 m length.

Does the flat SSTP design run hotter or noisier than a round cable during all‑day transfers?

Flat SSTP construction with 100 % bare copper and gold‑plated RJ45 contacts produces no audible noise and no measurable heat rise during continuous 10 Gbps traffic.

What devices must already have RJ45 ports for this cable to work?

Any equipment with an 8P8C RJ45 jack — routers, switches, modems, consoles such as Xbox One or PS4, PCs, NAS, printers, VoIP phones — will connect directly.
