Ideal for Gaming and Streaming Setups

This 1.5 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable delivers 40 Gbps data transfer and 2000 MHz bandwidth for low-latency gaming and smooth streaming. The short length suits connections between a PC, PS5, Xbox or modem and a nearby router or switch. It is not for buyers who need longer runs across rooms or through walls.

Braided Shielded Build for Daily Handling

A cotton braided jacket protects four shielded foiled twisted pairs and a pure copper core, while gold-plated RJ45 connectors resist corrosion. The construction survives at least 10000 bends, so frequent re-routing or tight bends behind desks will not damage the cable. It is not for installers who require in-wall rated jackets or outdoor UV protection.

PoE Support Simplifies Camera Installs

Power over Ethernet works on this length, letting you run a PoE camera or access point without a separate power adapter. The feature saves a socket and reduces cable clutter for compatible devices. It is not for projects needing PoE on 65 ft runs, where the function is not supported.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth ceiling does the 2000 MHz Cat 8 rating impose in practice?

The cable is rated for 2000 MHz bandwidth and supports up to 40 Gbps data transfer under the Cat 8 standard.

What physical clearance does the braided 1.5 ft Cat 8 cable need for routing and connector depth?

The cotton braided jacket adds thickness over standard PVC, and the gold-plated RJ45 plugs require about 45 mm depth behind the device port for a straight insertion.

How is the shielded Cat 8 cable terminated, and which wiring step is most often missed?

Each end uses a gold-plated RJ45 with 4 shielded foiled twisted pairs; the common mistake is not seating the drain wire and foil fully into the plug’s metal housing before crimping.
