15 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable

This 15 ft Cat 8 Ethernet cable delivers up to 40 Gbps data transfer and 2000 MHz bandwidth. It uses four shielded foiled twisted pairs with a pure copper core and gold-plated RJ45 connectors. The cotton braided jacket is rated for at least 10000 bends without breaking. It suits gamers, streamers and home-office users who need a reliable wired link.

Braided shielding and PoE support

The braided cotton jacket adds mechanical strength and flexibility for routing around corners. Double shielding with foiled twisted pairs reduces crosstalk and external interference for a more stable connection. PoE support allows power delivery to compatible devices such as cameras without a separate power supply, except on the 65 ft length which is not this product.

Ideal for high-speed LAN; not for runs beyond 15 ft

This cable suits desktop PCs, consoles, routers, modems and switches that use standard RJ45 ports. It is backward compatible with Cat 7, Cat 6e, Cat 6, Cat 5e and Cat 5 equipment. Buyers who need longer runs, in-wall rated jackets or outdoor UV protection should look at other cable types.

Questions about this item

How many times can the braided Cat 8 cable be bent before it might fail?

The cotton braided cord is tested to withstand at least 10000 bends without breaking, making it suitable for long-term use and frequent repositioning.

What bandwidth ceiling will I hit first when running this Cat 8 cable at full load?

The cable is rated for 2000 MHz bandwidth and 40 Gbps data transfer, so the 2000 MHz limit is the first constraint under sustained high-speed use.

Does the 15 ft Cat 8 cable run hot or draw extra power when used continuously for PoE devices?

The 15 ft length supports PoE power supply without needing an additional power source, and the shielded twisted-pair design keeps interference and heat low during all-day operation.
